AUTOMATIC CHECKING OF THE CAP TOLERANCE

100% quality control
Mechanically machined wheels can be checked for the correct cap tolerance prior to finishing, with the NUMTEC MEASCAP measurement system.
Due to a very short cycle time of only 8 seconds, every wheel can be verified.
For this process, the wheels are centred and lifted in the measuring position.
The wheels will be measured with two lasers to accurately measure the height of the cap.
Wheels that are out of tolerance or within a limited range are ejected to a separate roller table for further analyses.
